The symbol of the Vesica Piscis

As a Pisces my favorite symbol that guides me in every relationship in my life is the Vesica Pisces.   This ancient symbol for me holds the pattern of healthy balanced interaction and connection in all relationships.

The 3 main relationships in our life are:

• Self and Source
• Self and Significant Other
• Self and Community.

The Vesica Piscis  symbol is 2 equal circles overlapping and forming the almond shape Vesica Piscis.   This shape identifies the presence of Spirit that occurs when 2 or more are gathered in light and without the ego.  This pattern shows us how to have healthy boundaries, to accept and be with what is unfolding, and to trust in the presence of Spirit everywhere.  When we try to power over, control, manipulate, isolate or disconnect the Vesica Piscis is not present. If we can trust the presence and wisdom of the Vesica Piscis experience, we experience another circle birthed from the Vesica, a creation greater than that the original 2 circles.  This pattern can continue with the 3rd circle forming 2 more Vesica and continues to birth many relationships, eventually forming the flower of life pattern, a map of any healthy Community of like minded Souls.  The quote ” When two or more are gathered in my name, I am there…..” reveals the symbolic teaching of the Vesica Piscis.
